Peruvian National Team Player Edison Flores has arrived in Lima
The offensive midfielder of the Peruvian National Team, Edison Flores, is already on his way to Lima to join the training sessions led by coach Ricardo Gareca at the Videna facilities. The popular 'Orejas' will arrive in Lima this afternoon and will attend the Videna on Wednesday.
The national team has been training since Wednesday, May 10, although they have had two breaks during the week. They continue to work towards the friendly match against Scotland and the 2018 World Cup in Russia. The only player that is yet to arrive in Lima is Miguel Trauco from Brazil.
Why didn't he arrive earlier?
Edison Flores had planned to travel to Lima last weekend. However, at his club Aalborg in Denmark, he was not granted the necessary permission. Flores has been a substitute in the last few matches and was also on the bench in the last game.
He wants to shine in Russia
The former Universitario player has performed well with the Peruvian national team in the Qualifiers, Copa America, and friendly matches. He has played 27 games and has already scored 9 goals. In Russia, 'Oreja' wants to shine in order to showcase himself and find a better team in another league.
