In the latest FIFA council, the dates for the FIFA U-17 World Cup Peru 2023 were approved. The tournament will take place in Peru from November 10th to December 2nd, 2023.
The Peruvian Football Federation (FPF) highlighted the confirmation of the youth World Cup in Peru.
"According to agreements established between FIFA, the FPF, and the Peruvian government through its Multisectoral Working Group, they continue working to ensure the proper development of this great international event in our country," said the FPF.
They also commented that "the FIFA U-17 World Cup Peru 2023 will allow us to showcase our sports infrastructure according to international standards and contribute to the economic reactivation of thousands of jobs."
Finally, the highest authority of Peruvian soccer emphasized that thanks to the organization, Peru will have positive results in "sports, tourism, commercial aspects, promoting sports and physical activity in the country, among others," they concluded.
