José Luna Morales, the virtual city councilor of the Municipality of Lima, was arrested at the RPP facilities. This happened after the Judicial Power ordered pretrial detention against him: "I do not evade justice", he mentioned while being transferred to Requisitoria.

As a reminder, the official is accused of having a direct relationship with the case known as 'The Political Gangsters': "There are serious and well-founded evidence", reported Judge Jorge Chávez Tamariz, who ordered the location and capture of Luna Morales.
"We will demonstrate innocence", said the son of the founder of the political party Podemos Perú, who boarded a minivan to go to the offices of Requisitorias.
In that regard, he would have to abide by 34 months of pretrial detention; he is accused of the alleged crimes of criminal organization and specific active bribery in the aforementioned case.
Likewise, it was elucidated that Morales collaborated in the purchase of the wills of Guido Águila Grados, Iván Noguera Ramos, and Julio Gutiérrez Pebe, when they served as counselors of the deactivated National Council of the Judiciary (CNM).
