The Power Judicial ordered the suspension of contracts of Media Networks Latin America S.A.C. and GOL TV Latinoamerica S.A.C. with professional football clubs including Alianza Lima, regarding the transfer of broadcasting rights of Liga 1, after admitting an injunction imposed by the Peruvian Football Federation (FPF).
This measure is based on the change in the FPF regulations, which took place in March. The clubs that are obliged to comply with the judicial decision are four: Alianza Lima, FBC Melgar, Cienciano, and Deportivo Binacional. It should be noted that it does not include those contracts expressly authorized in writing by the FPF (Universitario de Deportes, Deportivo Municipal, Sport Boys, and Carlos Mannucci).
The official channel of the Peruvian tournament - Liga 1 Max, managed by the company 1190 Sports, will remain responsible for broadcasting rights whenever the clubs of Sporting Cristal, César Vallejo, Alianza Atlético, Cantolao, Deportivo Garcilaso, Cusco FC, Atlético Grau, Sport Huancayo, UTC, Unión Comercio, and ADT play at home.
WHERE TO WATCH LIGA 1 MAX?
Since the beginning of the year, 1190 Sports and the FPF have announced that the Liga 1 Max subscription channel can be viewed through the following cable operators: DirecTV, Best Cable, Claro TV, Cable Mundo Perú, Latin Cable, and USA Red. In addition, the subscription to Liga 1 Play has recently been enabled, a platform where all matches of the Peruvian tournament can be watched for only 59.90 soles.
