The Judicial Power has decided to pronounce on the lawsuit filed by Jean Ferrari, administrator of Universitario de Deportes, against the well-known sports journalist Gonzalo Núñez. This is to inform that it has been admitted and will have a criminal process in the coming days.
The revelation was made through a resolution, which indicates that Judge Silvia Marisa Villar Rodríguez will be in charge of this case between the administrator of Universitario de Deportes and the sports journalist.
Similarly, the document specifies that the lawsuit by Ferrari against Núñez is for the alleged aggravated defamation, and there is a period of five business days to respond to it.
"Admitting for processing the complaint filed by Jean Franco Ferrari Chiabra against Gonzalo Núñez for the alleged crime of aggravated defamation provided for in article 132° second and third paragraph of the Penal Code, therefore, the present complaint is to be forwarded to the accused for the period of five business days, in order for them to respond and present the corresponding evidence in accordance with article 462° of the New Criminal Procedure Code, attaching a copy of the complaint and its supporting documents," it reads.
