This is the sixth friendly match of the team led by Víctor Reyes, of which only one victory has been obtained. At the end of the match, the coach gave statements.
“The team, at times, did the work that we have been practicing. In the first half, we made very clear mistakes that cost us the match. In the second half, we were able to level but with the score already down, it was a little difficult. We tried to reduce the difference and we couldn't score”, he said.
“We seek to have international experience, more matches. At this age, you gain more with international matches, which is where the player will develop better. This is formative football, from these matches we learn”, he added.
It is worth mentioning that the Peruvian goalkeeper Ian Schimitschek stood out by saving a penalty from the Uruguayan Pérez.
