For illicit enrichment: The prosecution requested 6 years and 8 months of imprisonment against Agustín Lozano.

This Thursday, November 2nd, through a statement issued on its social media, the Public Prosecutor's Office announced that the third office of the Specialized Prosecutor's Office for Crimes of Official Corruption in Lambayeque filed charges and requested six years and eight months of imprisonment for Agustín Lozano, president of the Peruvian Football Federation (FPF). This request is based on the allegation that he committed the crime of illicit enrichment when he was mayor of the district of Chongoyape in Lambayeque.

Let's remember that on September 28th, 2022, the National Prosecutor's Office ordered to formalize the investigation against Agustín Lozano due to the evidence that he had committed the crime of illicit enrichment against the state, in his capacity as mayor of the mentioned district in Lambayeque. Therefore, after several months of investigations, this accusation has now been formalized.
