In a spectacular day for national athletes of the junior surf team in the 2022 Junior World Surfing Championship El Salvador, most of them advanced to the third round of the competition, which continues this Tuesday and culminates on Sunday, June 5.
Junior surfers Antia del Solar (U16), Noah de Col (U18), Camila Sanday (U16), Catalina Zariquiey (U16), Gabriel Ljubicic (U16), and Kalea Gervasi (U18) have advanced directly to the third round of the 2022 Surf City El Salvador ISA World Junior Surfing Championship.
Juan Diego Ríos (U18), Mariano Maugere (U18), Arena Rodríguez (U18), and Alejandro Bernales (U16) will give their all in the repechage to continue advancing alongside their compatriots.

This important worldwide event, held on the beaches of La Bocana El Tunco and El Sunzal, brings together 423 surfers from 45 countries.
The National Surfing Federation (Fenta) receives support from the Peruvian Sports Institute (IPD) in the form of financial grants.
The selected Peruvian surfers in the U18 category are: Noah de Col, Juan Diego Ríos, Mariano Maugere, Arena Rodríguez, Kalea Gervasi, and Fabiana Cancino; and in the U16 category, Alejandro Bernales, Gabriel Ljubicic, Sean Goldszmidt, Catalina Zariquiey, Camila Sanday, and Antia del Solar.
