Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn's Departure from WWE UK Tour
Undoubtedly one of the main topics of conversation right now is the departure of both Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn from WWE's UK tour. The most recent information indicates that both wrestlers changed the company's plans by their own decision.
New details about Owens and Zayn's punishment
As we mentioned, both of them were sent back to the United States as supposed punishment, and we do not have their situation very clear at the moment, although currently no information indicates that their position in the company is in danger.
Bully Ray, the former WWE, TNA, and Ring of Honor wrestler, is one among many people both inside and outside of the business who have given their opinion on this matter. He spoke about this issue in a recent interview on Busted Open Radio.
"When you make decisions for yourself, you are being selfish. You are doing something for your own benefit that may not be the best for the story that the company wants you to tell. In the past, it might have been tolerated for a wrestler to go against the company's decision, but not today.
"Vince McMahon sent a very clear message to Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn. And also to the locker room. The message is: 'This is my business. I am a billionaire. I created this place. Do what you're told, because I don't care who you are, and I will send you home to think about your mistakes'."
The former member of the legendary Team 3D also spoke about the spectacular match between Chris Jericho and Kenny Omega.
"Jericho is a genius in constant reinvention. Both of them are immense. Very rarely am I so excited about a match. Professional wrestling is like a game of chess, and Jericho did a great job playing chess on social media. He set everything up so well that we thought he was setting something up for his event in 2018. Then he looked us in the face and said, 'checkmate'. It's a match bigger than a WrestleMania match".
