So basically, they’re going with their usual lineup for the biggest game of the season.

We’ve got lineups for the first of what will surely be a doubleheader that both sets of Atlanta Braves and New York Mets fans won’t forget for a long time, yet. As you would imagine for the Braves, they haven’t made any serious changes heading into this final day of the season but there’s still something worth talking about, here. So let’s talk about it!

Here’s Atlanta’s lineup:

As you can see, this is the lineup that the Braves have settled on in recent days, meaning that Travis d’Arnaud is playing catcher and batting seventh. Ozzie Albies is still batting second despite having an OBP of .156 and a wRC+ of 2 (yes, two) since returning from injury. Ozzie probably shouldn’t be hitting this high at this particular moment in time but the man in charge of writing out the lineup card still thinks he should be up there so he’s up there.

Here’s how New York is looking:

The top six of this lineup is identical to what they trotted out there for their win against Milwaukee yesterday. The big changes come at the bottom of the order, which is where Tyrone Taylor is moving to right field and batting seventh, Harrison Bader is playing center and batting ninth while Francisco Alvarez is batting eighth and playing catcher.

Today’s game is scheduled to start at 1:10 pm E.T. and can be seen on both Bally Sports South and ESPN2. Additionally, you can listen to the game on 680 The Fan/93.7 FM and on the 680 The Fan app wherever you happen to be.
