MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) - Nine Reedsburg juveniles were cited for disorderly conduct after allegedly harassing members of the Amish community, the Sauk County Sheriff’s Office reported on Sunday.
Sheriff Chip Meister explained that deputies were conducting extra patrols on Sunday, Aug. 11, after harassment was reported.
Deputies found the suspect vehicle and cited nine juveniles. The nine individuals were not named.
The School District of Reedsburg reported last week that it was canceling its first two varsity football games of the season due to an investigation. Sheriff Meister confirmed this investigation is related to the harassment investigation.
