This decision comes a few hours after the same organization that manages the Italian First Division and the Copa Italia also postponed the other semifinal, Juventus-Milan, initially scheduled for this Wednesday in Turin, due to the coronavirus outbreak.
According to the latest official balance from the Civil Protection, Italy has registered a total of 1,694 infections. Of these, 1,577 patients have the virus, 34 have died, and 83 people have recovered.
The Serie A League also postponed four matches from the 25th round two weeks ago, and six from the last weekend, which forced them to convene an extraordinary meeting this Wednesday to decide when to play them.
