The player from Flamengo in Brazil revealed, at that time, that he had no knowledge of it, but that any player would be interested in playing in that league.
However, that option seems to be ruled out after the statements of the Girondins de Bordeaux coach, Gustavo Poyet.
"We are not currently looking for a left back. I have two in that position, why would I want another one? No left back in the world is an option for my team," said the Uruguayan strategist to 'RPP Noticias'.
On the other hand, Poyet, former Chelsea player and Uruguayan national team player, commented on the participation of the Peruvian national team in the 2018 Russia World Cup, recently eliminated in the group stage.
