The Peruvian national team will play the most important match in the last years of the Eliminatory stage. The game will be this Tuesday at 6:30 p.m (Peruvian time) against Colombia at the National Stadium, with 42,000 Peruvians in the stands cheering on the warriors who will fight for a spot in Russia 2018.
Two of those players will be Edison Flores and Andy Polo, who have won the hearts of the Peruvian fans with their great performances on the field. Both players made a video on social media to confirm that there are no nerves or anxiety, and that the spirits are high for the match against Colombia's team.
"Hi, I'm Edison Flores and I'm Andy Polo...", they greet in the video. However, 'Orejas' (Flores) lowers the camera and reproaches Polo for not continuing with the rehearsed speech. "But why did you lower the camera?", the midfielder from Monarcas Morelia responds in the clip that has gone viral on social media.
The Peruvian national team is in fifth place with 25 points, one point behind Colombia. The 'Blanquirroja' team depends on itself to qualify directly to Russia 2018 and return to the World Cup after 36 long years of absence.
