One of the questions was about Juan Reynoso's controversial statements about the Peruvian League's level. Sporting Cristal's defender didn't hesitate to say that all the players in the local league prepare themselves to play the full 90 minutes.
"I believe that we are prepared to play the full 90 minutes. After that, due to the wear and tear of the game, you may not feel as prepared as you were," said Jhilmar Lora in a press conference.

Afterward, Lora didn't hesitate to talk about the importance of the six points in this double round of the qualifiers. He knows that the Peruvian national team has struggled at the beginning of the qualifiers, so they have no room for error against Bolivia and Venezuela.
"While it's true that the altitude factor plays a role, in the local tournament, we also have to travel to the provinces a lot, and that partly favors us. You have to know how to calculate the times, know when to push forward. You have to know how to stay in your position to be able to recover and then come back," he added.

The Cristal player remembers that he has always faced competition in his position throughout his career. Now, in the national team, it's no exception, so he hopes to convince Juan Reynoso to consider him for the matches against Bolivia and Venezuela.
"My goal is to have minutes in this double round in the short term and then fight for a starting position," he concluded.
