ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO) — If you are tuning into the presidential debate tonight, chances are you will see a multi-generational Rockford business’s work.

Prographics is the exclusive provider of promotional signs and banners for CNN’s coverage. Steve Goley is the second of three generations that have led Prographics.

“We put the business up from scratch. My father, my two brothers, myself and I, a handful of good friends, business friends. And we flourished. We’re very fortunate,” said Goley

In the 40 years the business has been around, Goley said their commitment to quality, from employees to products, has led to requests from local organizations like the Rockford Icehogs to global brands like Apple and the National Hockey League.

“This is the first time we’ve been exclusive with the presidential debate,” said Goley. “We’ve done parts of it before and we’re doing 99% of what’s going on in the debate this year.”

Goley’s son now leads day-to-day operations and as the debate nears, Goley said he is proud of the moment.

“We handle the NCAA final four, much of the work for the NBA, U.S. Soccer, etc., but this is really cool just because it gets so much media attention.”

Goley said they continue to grow and he hopes his grandson will one day continue the family legacy of leading Prographics.
