Universitario de Deportes has the opportunity to secure the Clausura Tournament title this Sunday against Sport Huancayo.
In just a few days since the tickets went on sale, all seats have been sold out, which gives Jorge Fossati's team strong motivation to seek victory at the Monumental stadium. A victory in this match would ensure them the championship of the second phase of the tournament and their qualification to the final of the local championship, where they would face Alianza Lima.
The Universitario club announced through its official Twitter account that all tickets for the match against Sport Huancayo, scheduled for Sunday, October 29 at 3:00 p.m., have been sold out. Although the sale to the general public was scheduled to start on Wednesday 25, all tickets were sold on Tuesday 24. These tickets were offered to both club members and affiliate members, as well as paying attendees of the match against Sport Boys.
If Universitario wins, they would secure a direct spot in the final, where they would face Alianza Lima. However, in the case of a draw in the last matchday, Melgar could surpass them if they achieve a victory in Juliaca. Otherwise, the door would open for Sporting Cristal or Alianza Lima to also compete for the title.
