Prior to the match against Chile, the coach of the Peruvian National Team, Juan Reynoso, highlighted the adaptation process of Oliver Sonne, a Danish footballer who recently obtained Peruvian nationality thanks to his maternal grandmother's ancestry.
"It's a new experience, he's sometimes speaking in Spanish and sometimes in English. The teammates are being spectacular. They have gathered around a table to facilitate English for him," said the national coach in a press conference.
In the same line, Juan Reynoso also commented on Oliver Sonne's football qualities, describing him as a noble and serious young man who came to our country with the desire to contribute his European experience to the Peruvian National Team.

"The jokes are in English and Spanish. We are trying to involve him in the most natural way possible, but we see in him a noble and healthy guy with the intention of coming to contribute. He works very seriously, very alert from the moment he steps on the field," added the coach.
