In Search of the Tricampeonato, Alianza Lima Defeats Academia Cantolao 2-0 in the 12th Round of the Clausura Tournament of the Liga 1 Betsson 2023

Alianza Lima, the two-time Peruvian champion, obtained a resounding victory, demonstrating their early dominance in the match. In the seventh minute of play, Franco Zanelatto scored the first goal with a precise shot that beat goalkeeper Christian Limousin.

The first half of the match could be described as a fervent battle, as it ended with a total of five players receiving yellow cards; two for Alianza Lima and three for 'Delfines' from Academia Cantolao.

In the beginning of the second half, Alianza Lima, led by Mauricio Larriera, increased their advantage with a goal from the experienced Hernán Barcos, who took advantage of a pass from Ricardo Lagos and executed a precise shot into the opponent's goal.
