Fluminense Makes Spectacular Comeback to Reach Copa Libertadores 2023 Final

In an exciting match, Fluminense achieved a spectacular comeback against Internacional and secured their spot in the Copa Libertadores 2023 final. The decisive goals were scored by John Kennedy and Germán Cano, who became the heroes of the night.

The match started off difficult for Fluminense after Internacional took the lead with a goal from Argentine defender Gabriel Mercado in the 9th minute. However, Fernando Diniz's team did not give up and fought until the end.

Despite Internacional having several opportunities, they were unable to seal the match. This situation was taken advantage of by Fluminense, who completed the comeback in the final minutes of the match with Kennedy's goal in the 81st minute and Cano's goal in the 87th minute.

AWAITING PALMEIRAS OR BOCA JUNIORS

With this victory, Fluminense will seek their first international title on November 4th at the legendary Maracanã Stadium. They will have to wait for the winner of the other semifinal between Palmeiras and Boca Juniors, led by Peruvian Luis Advíncula.

This will be the second time that "Tricolor Carioca" reaches the Copa Libertadores final, after losing to Liga de Quito in 2008. Undoubtedly, the team will seek revenge and try to make history by winning their first continental title.
