Ángelo Campos, goalkeeper of Alianza Lima, talked about the departure of "Chicho" Salas, a decision made by the board of directors after the goalless draw against Universitario de Deportes in Matute, adding up to their third consecutive match without a win.

Regarding this, the Alianza goalkeeper stated that the decisions of the club are respected; however, he believes that "a storm was made" over a situation that, in his opinion, is not so critical and has not left them without a chance of winning the Clausura.

"The board makes its decisions, we as club employees respect that... Two draws and a loss and a storm was made where there was none, but it's part of football. At Alianza, they always demand us to win, and that's what we have to do on Saturday," he said.

Campos also said goodbye to Salas and highlighted the achievements obtained in the La Victoria team under his coaching: "He left a title, the bicampeonato, the Apertura. He left us one step away from playing the final, the 'Chicho' left us with good things, and personally, I have learned a lot from him," he said.
