This led the singer Pedro Suárez Vértiz to use his social media platforms to unleash his artillery against the Peruvian Football Federation, claiming that it is a "disastrous and corrupt" institution.
Through his official Facebook account, the composer stated that after Ricardo Gareca's departure, "no one will put us in the tenth position of the FIFA ranking, nor will they take us to a Copa America final, not even a World Cup."
In addition, Suárez Vértiz asked a question in his post, wondering if the executives of the Peruvian Football Federation did not want Gareca to take charge of the youth divisions to continue "messing things up."
The singer-songwriter emphasized that within the Peruvian Football Federation there are many "crooks" profiting from Peru's delay. On the other hand, the interpreter of "Cuando pienses en volver" revealed that the 'Tigre' wanted to continue as the coach of the national team.
Finally, he sent a message to the president of the Peruvian Football Federation, Agustín Lozano, exclaiming that he must pay Ricardo Gareca "what he deserves" in order for him to continue leading the Peruvian National Team.
