The tapadito! Hernán Crespo would be an option to replace Gareca, affirms Mr. Peet.

Sports journalist Peter Arévalo pointed out that in the FPF they consider Hernán Crespo as a possibility if Ricardo Gareca decides not to renew with the Peruvian national team.

Ricardo Gareca returned to Argentina, where he will spend a few days resting and reflecting before deciding whether or not to continue as the coach of the Peruvian national team. Despite the FPF stating that there is no plan b if the 'Tiger' decides not to renew, sports journalist Peter Arévalo revealed that there is a coach in mind.

The popular 'Mr. Peet' stated that the FPF has a young Argentine coach in mind to replace Gareca if he decides not to continue.

"The plan b is a '9' who has played for the Argentine national team, who is a young coach.

That is the thinking they have (at the FPF) in case Ricardo Gareca falls through," said Arévalo in the most recent edition of 'A Presión Radio'.

Finally, 'Mr. Peet' revealed that it is Hernán Crespo, former striker of the Argentine national team who has been a coach since 2014.

"Hernán Crespo, because Beccacece was never on the radar of the national team and in case Ricardo Gareca does not accept the conditions, they would consider someone like Crespo," he added.

This revelation raised suspicion among his panel colleagues, especially due to Crespo's lack of experience with national teams, to which Arévalo responded: "Gareca had no experience coaching a national team."

After finishing his successful football career in 2011, Crespo trained to become a coach and has since coached Modena in Italy, Banfield, Defensa y Justicia, Sao Paulo, and is currently the coach of Al Duhail in Qatar.
