This Tuesday, June 7th, the Peruvian National Team completed a new training session in the city of Barcelona, Spain. The bicolor squad experienced a great atmosphere during the physical workouts led by Nolberto Solano, who took charge of the team after Ricardo Gareca's trip to Qatar.

The Peruvian National Team doesn't stop training after the friendly match played against New Zealand at the RCDE Stadium, which was a great test to anticipate what the repechage match against Australia or the UAE could be like.

In fact, the entire team is aware that on Tuesday, June 7th, they will find out who their rival will be in this crucial match for a spot in Qatar 2022, so they are eagerly waiting to find out who they will face in the city of Doha.

According to the Peruvian Football Federation (FPF), today's practice was led by assistant coaches Nolberto Solano and Hugo Alves. Likewise, the fitness coach Edder Benites was present to supervise the players' performance.

One of the players who showed the most action with the ball was Christian Cueva, who is preparing day by day to give his best performance in Qatar for the respective repechage match.

When does Peru play the repechage?

The Peruvian National Team will face the repechage on Monday, June 13th, starting at 1:00 PM Peru time (6:00 PM GMT). The opponent will come from the winner between Australia and the UAE.
