Cusco FC, San Martín, and Alianza Universidad are seriously compromised in the relegation battle. This Sunday, the San Martín team was humiliated and suffered a 6-0 defeat against Melgar, dropping to last place in the overall table and facing the real possibility of relegation with just two matchdays to go. Meanwhile, the Cusco team lost to Municipal on Monday, distancing themselves from the relegation zone.
Cantolao and Binacional are in a similar situation but with two more points (24) in their favor. However, they have the obligation to climb in the standings and prevent the teams below them from gaining points.

Unlike the previous tournament, this year two clubs will be directly relegated and one will face a repechage against the runner-up of Liga 2. How is it defined? The bottom two teams in the overall table are automatically relegated, while the team in third-to-last place will face Carlos Stein.
