The coach of the Peruvian National Team, Ricardo Gareca, referred to the injury that Yoshimar Yotun has been carrying and stated that the midfielder will not be able to play the match against the Colombian National Team and is already thinking about a possible replacement.
"Yotun, we don't think he will play. He just trained with his teammates today. Tomorrow we have one more training session, but it's game day. We see very few possibilities for him, he did have them for the second match," declared Gareca in a press conference.
However, the Argentine strategist stated that Renato Tapia and Pedro Aquino are available, so one of the players could take Yotun's place, as they have done on previous occasions.
"Renato Tapia has progressed well, we believe he has great chances, as does Pedro Aquino. We'll see if they start," added Ricardo Gareca.
