Carlos Zambrano and Raul Ruidiaz are very good friends on and off the pitch. That's why the central defender of Dynamo de Kiev didn't hesitate to play a joke on the 'Pulga' regarding his lack of goals in the Peruvian National Team, which will face Colombia in an international friendly match.
"It's an honor (that he won the MLS). Just like Claudio (Pizarro), I think it brings joy to everyone, especially us, because he's our teammate. But it's time for him to score here too. I think he's a natural born goal scorer," Zambrano ironically told Depor upon his arrival in Miami.
As it is known, Ruidiaz became champion of the MLS with the Seattle Sounders, who defeated Toronto 3-1 with a goal from the national striker.
Furthermore, Zambrano stated that he will seek new opportunities in 2020, as he is not getting playing time at Dynamo, a club where he is not taken into account by coach Aleksei Mikhailichenko.
Colombia and Peru will face each other on Friday, November 15 at 8:00 p.m. (Peruvian time). The match will take place at Sun Life Stadium in Miami.
