In view of this, FPF President Agustín Lozano referred to and explained what could happen if these foundations are not approved again.
"If they are not approved, it will be a brake and disadvantage for the growth of the Federation. If they are not approved, we would have to convene a third Assembly within 30 or 60 days. The important thing is for the roadmap to start walking," said Agustín Lozano in an interview with ESPN.
"Things are calmer than what is intended for the public opinion. FIFA expects the assembly members, who are the 18 clubs and the 25 departmental leagues, to have obtained sufficient space to analyze and reflect and vote with knowledge of the context of the new statutes of the FPF. There is nothing transcendental", added Lozano.

"It is a great opportunity for the clubs to give their approval vote on the statutes, because if it happens, we are adjusting to a model that FIFA considers the best for the development of football, not only in Peru but in all continents. The new statutes consider various bodies that will provide transparency and legal order," he added.
