Peruvian National Team suffers 3-0 loss against Colombia

The Peruvian National Team lost 3-0 against Colombia in a friendly match held at the Miguel Grau Stadium in Callao. Nolberto Solano's team showed little football and was dominated by their rival.

In the first half, the Peruvian team had more than one opportunity; however, they were not effective in front of the opposing goal. On the other hand, the 'cafeteros' took full advantage of their goal-scoring chances and scored twice.

The first goal came from Luis Sandoval in the 24th minute. Three minutes later, Colombia increased their lead with a good left-footed finish from Juan Pablo Ramirez, who easily defeated goalkeeper Angel Zamudio.

In the second half, Brayan Vera silenced the Miguel Grau Stadium with a fantastic free-kick goal in the 73rd minute. Hundreds of Peruvian fans left disappointed with the national team, which will face the 2020 Pre-Olympic tournament in Colombia.

It should be noted that Peru and Colombia will meet again at the iconic Chalaco stadium. The match is scheduled for October 13th, starting at 1:15 p.m. (Peruvian time).
