Gabriel Costa is living a good moment with the Peruvian national team and is poised to start in the Peru vs. Brazil match, which will take place in Los Angeles. The Colo Colo player took the time to speak with the press and almost broke down when explaining the love he receives from fans.
There is no doubt that Gabriel Costa has won the affection of the Peruvian national team fans, after his good performance in the debut against Ecuador. He played 45 minutes and was one of the best players on Ricardo Gareca's team.
"My son told me to learn the national anthem [laughs]. I already knew it, but he hadn't heard me sing it. The people, the place where I am, and the people have been amazing. Since I arrived in Peru, I have felt the love from the people. I never thought I would experience that kind of affection," said Gabriel Costa.
"My son started singing the national anthem, and those are the things that one values. We will take the match against Brazil as a rematch," added an emotional Gabriel Costa.
Just a few days before the Peru vs. Brazil match, Gabriel Costa impressed in training with the Peruvian national team in Los Angeles. Peruvian fans want to see more of him against Neymar's team.
