Invalidated goals by VAR
The goals invalidated by the VAR in favor of the Venezuelan selection against the Peruvian selection and Brazil have generated a series of comments in favor and especially against. The debate, for example, took place on the television program "Directv Sports, Total Football," where Daniel Kanashiro was sarcastic when he mentioned what the acronym VAR meant after the Copa America 2019 match in Salvador de Bahia.
"Do you know what VAR means?" They asked me. I said what does VAR mean? Venezuela Assistant Referee. Throughout the continent, VAR is associated with Venezuela," said the narrator from Directv Sports, provoking an immediate reaction from his Venezuelan colleagues, who were in the set.
"Kanashiro, has VAR given something to Venezuela? Then what are you talking about? You're talking nonsense," emphatically responded Venezuelan journalist Fernando Petrocelli.

Kanashiro and the controversy over the VAR via Directv Sports:
"Kanashiro is mistaken because almost certainly Peru is going to lose to Brazil and then you will feel diminished with Venezuela because it drew against Brazil, so you don't have to rush, I'm telling you as a good person, stay calm, don't get excited," energetically commented Venezuelan journalist Alex Candal.
The truth is that the Peruvian selection, Brazil, and Venezuela have chances to access the quarter-finals of the Copa America and all this will be defined on Saturday, June 22, when the last round of Group A is played.
