Peru vs. Uruguay: Edinson Cavani's gesture with fans of the Peruvian National Team and 'charrúas' [VIDEO]

Peru and Uruguay meet again in a Copa America, after eight years. The match, which promises to be unpredictable, has gathered thousands of fans who have come to Salvador de Bahia to meet their idols, including the attackers of the 'Celeste', Edison Cavani and Luis Suarez.

The Uruguayan national team has been characterized by its regularity in international tournaments, as well as its humility towards fans, not only from their own country, but from other nationalities, such as Peru. Edison Cavani is one of the most known for these gestures.

The PSG forward is one of the most popular players of the 'charrua' team, especially for his closeness to the fans. This afternoon, after training, fans from the Peruvian national team and the 'Celeste' arrived at the concentration hotel to get an autograph and photos with the Uruguayan star.

The police officers also didn't miss this opportunity. They also wanted to have a memory with the star of the Uruguayan team, with whom they took a photo. As well as Cavani, Luis Suarez also approached the fans to take photos and sign many shirts.

Ricardo Gareca is scheduled to hold a press conference this afternoon at 3:30 p.m. (Peruvian time) at the Arena Fonte Nova. In addition, he will be accompanied by Paolo Guerrero, prior to the quarterfinal match. The quarterfinal match is scheduled for this Saturday, June 29th at 2:00 p.m.
