After defeating Saudi Arabia last weekend, the Peruvian National Team is getting ready for their final friendly match against Sweden prior to the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
This Monday, the definitive list of 23 players for the World Cup was announced, with Paolo Guerrero leading the official list of Peru's squad to compete in the 2018 World Cup.
The Peruvian captain returned to the team after the Swiss Federal Tribunal suspended the 14-month doping ban imposed on him by the Court of Arbitration for Sport (TAS).
With Guerrero's return to the national team, midfielder Sergio Peña, from Spanish club Granada, was left out of Peru's 23-man squad, as the player himself commented on his social media accounts on Sunday.
