Peru confirms friendly match against Scotland

Antonio Garcia Pye, manager of the FPF, confirmed that Peru will play a friendly match against Scotland on May 29 as part of the final preparation for the 2018 World Cup in Russia.

"Yes, it has been confirmed. It wasn't easy because we always try to minimize costs. Scotland will play against Peru and then against Mexico. The match will be at 8 p.m.," said the executive.

About the friendlies in the United States

Garcia Pye also talked about the logistics for the preparation matches against Iceland and Croatia in the United States.

"The intention is to gather the group there. There are many players in Mexico and the United States. On the 19th, they will be summoned in Miami. We will leave here on the 18th with some local players to receive the rest the following day. After the match on the 23rd, we will stay in Miami and then travel to New Jersey," he explained.
