Isabel Esparza, the deceased's sister, revealed that the young woman's father had been in prison for several years for an act he did not commit and that he had recently regained his freedom.

"Guadalupe Esparza had been separated from his daughter María Fernanda for several years, for various reasons, including being in prison, accused of an act he did not commit," said to the newspaper Debate.

She explained that when Guadalupe regained his freedom, he reunited with his loved ones and sought to start a new life to forget all the bad things that had happened.

Although he met several family members, it is unknown whether Esparza encountered or had any contact with his daughter before she passed away to talk about various things.
