Note on Rotations in Santos

If I didn't hear wrong, Robert Dante Siboldi announced yesterday that there will be rotations.

I'm not sure if these rotations will be in the starting lineup or when he makes substitutions during the last three games of the regular phase.

Furch's injury might be a sign that some Santos players are physically and mentally fatigued, after Siboldi relied on the starters to play in the Copa MX tournament.

We might see some faces that have been absent from the current tournament due to the performances of the starters. Jorge Sánchez and Gerardo Arteaga were the first victims.

Both of them lost their starting positions for a while. Jordi since the unfair expulsion against Cruz Azul last year, while Arteaga was taken out of the starting eleven after the defeat against Tigres.

Ulises Rivas Gilio has surpassed everyone on the left, including Osvaldo Martínez, Diego de Buen, and even Javier Cortés. Rivas went from being the second starting defensive midfielder to the substitute of the substitute.

Bryan Rabello and Cris Martínez have been two shadows amidst the light. It's clear as day that the Chilean is here out of obligation rather than desire. He doesn't even appear in the U-20 team's games. It's dramatic to witness the constant downfall of a player who doesn't lack quality but lacks enthusiasm.

The second one, Cris Martínez, is another victim of YouTube. Most Santos fans watched his promotional video and raised their expectations for this player, but the reality is that the level of Mexican soccer has surpassed him. I suggest to Millennials that they stop believing that everything that happens on the internet is real.

Both Rabello and Martínez are a clear example of foreigners who come to the Liga MX and underestimate the level of Mexican soccer, ending up on the bench or in the stands. There's not much to add about Cortés, except that Siboldi could place him in Pachuca, far from the pressure he could face from the fans if he played in the TSM stadium.

Based on Dante Siboldi's statements, don't be surprised to see one of the six players I mentioned in the next three closing games of the tournament.
