The hangover from securing the ticket to play in the playoffs is over, and now it's time to think about the future in order to face that match with all seriousness. The Peruvian national team has started working on the details with the aim of arriving with football rhythm.

The FIFA rule states that a friendly matchday will be opened for all teams in order to serve as preparation for the World Cup, and for others like Peru for the playoffs, therefore matches can be planned between May 30 and June 14.
The good news is that being just over fifteen days and with the leagues already finished, there could be several days of anticipation and even the possibility of playing up to three or four matches to develop an idea.
The FPF has already started preparing a list of possible opponents, although Ricardo Gareca's approval is still needed. One option is to play in the United States and look for cities with hot weather to simulate what the playoffs will be like (currently scheduled to be held in Qatar).
Another option is to play matches in Europe, taking advantage of the fact that many of the players may have an easier time traveling, although everything is still being worked out.
