Peruvian national team: How many spots will it drop in the FIFA rankings after friendlies with Uruguay? [PHOTOS AND VIDEOS]

The defeat of the Peruvian national team against the Uruguayan national team at the Centenario Stadium and then the draw at the National Stadium against the same sky blue team will take its toll on the Ricardo Gareca-led team in the latest FIFA Ranking, as stated by the Spanish statistician Mister Chip.

According to Alexis Martín-Tamayo, better known as Mister Chip, the last two results of the Peruvian national team in a video previewed the top 20 of the FIFA ranking, which will be officially announced next week.

In it, the Spaniard mentions that the Peruvian national team will drop one position. In other words, the 'Blanquirroja' will go down from the 19th place and be ranked 20th, after the 1-0 defeat in Montevideo and the 1-1 draw in Lima.

"(It was) a match in which Uruguay, with one less player for almost an hour, managed to draw against Peru and at least take the 1-1 result home," commented Mister Chip about the clash played in Lima, in which Christofer Gonzales scored for the home team, and Darwin Núñez for the Uruguayans.

Uruguay, on the other hand, will move up one spot and be in fifth position. Ahead, the 'Celeste' will have England (4th), Brazil (3rd), France (2nd), and Belgium (1st).
