Welcome in style. The Peruvian National Team received a warm welcome upon returning to Lima from Brazil after finishing second in the Copa America 2019.

Dozens of fans waited for the national players outside Jorge Chavez airport in Callao, and in a caravan, accompanied them on their way to the Videna in San Luis, where another significant number of people received them.

Amid applause, words of gratitude, and even tears from the most sensitive people, the national team bus arrived at the headquarters of the Peruvian Football Federation with the players who were part of the successful campaign of the national team.

Some fans were able to interact with the players: they took several photos and got autographs to remember. Even the policemen who were present did not want to miss the opportunity and also caught the fever for the Peruvian National Team.

It is worth mentioning that the delegation arrived without Paolo Guerrero and Miguel Trauco, who will join their teams' training in Brazil. Alexander Callens, who will travel to the United States, also did not arrive. Renato Tapia stayed behind at Videna.
