Pedro Gallese rubs shoulders with the best goalkeepers in the world after his good campaign with the Peruvian National Team and Orlando City. The 'Octopus' was nominated as one of the best goalkeepers of the season, as announced by the IFFHS (International Federation of Football History and Statistics).

Gallese appears on the list after his good performances with the national team. In the last match of the qualifiers, he was a wall against Lionel Messi's Argentina, as well as in the match against Bolivia, despite the national team's defeat in La Paz.

The former goalkeeper of San Martín and Juan Aurich has been praised in recent weeks for his performance with Orlando City. In Major League Soccer (MLS), he is considered one of the best, and Peruvian players who play in the tournament highlight him for his good performance.
