The Ministry of Interior, through its Twitter account, informed that more than 1,700 police officers will be in charge of security around the National Stadium, where the highly anticipated match Peru vs. Bolivia will take place.

"More than 1,700 officers of the National Police will provide security before, during and after the football match between the national teams of Peru and Bolivia. Put on your jersey and let's support responsibly! #UpPeru," reads the message.


The work of the agents will also involve traffic control in the vicinity of the sports arena, which is located in the Cercado de Lima.

The attendees to the match, which will be played within the framework of the Qatar 2022 qualifiers, will have to bring their ID card and wear double masks. They should not bring food or drinks to the event.


The sports event, which is of vital importance for the Peruvian national team, will begin at 9 PM and will be broadcasted by Latina and Movistar Play.
