In the Bogota final, he will play against Brazilian Gustavo Heide (No. 284) who qualified after defeating Spanish player David Jorda Sanchis (No. 391) with a score of 7-6 and 6-4. For the Sao Paulo native, this will be his first Challenger final.
In their head-to-head record, Tirante and Heide have only played once. The match took place at the Challenger de Santo Domingo just a month ago. In that match, the Argentine took the victory with a score of 7-6 (4) and 6-4.
