New information has been revealed about the surprising news that John Cena will have to undergo surgery.
According to journalist Mike Johnson from the news website PWInsider.com, the specific injury that John suffered was a tear in the rotator cuff of his right shoulder. This injury is the same one that recently affected Canadian wrestler Sami Zayn, Japanese wrestler Hideo Itami, and Swiss wrestler Cesaro.
Cena's health will be in the hands of Doctor James Andrews, an Orthopedic Surgeon and WWE Physician, who will perform the surgery tomorrow at his office in Birmingham, Alabama.
The injury apparently occurred on Wednesday, December 30, 2015, during a WWE Live! event at the Ricoh Coliseum in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Cena won by Disqualification against Alberto del Rio in a match for the United States Championship, after being attacked by Rusev, a member of the League of Nations.
With this, it is almost certain that John Cena will be out of the historic event WWE WrestleMania 32, where he was rumored to be facing The Undertaker. Although there is a small hope of seeing him, as we have already mentioned in SÚPER LUCHAS and it is well known, John Cena is a great athlete with a great ability to recover from injuries.
