In the main event of WWE SummerSlam 2019, Seth Rollins defeated Brock Lesnar and regained the universal title he lost weeks before.
Lesnar started dominating the match thanks to his great strength, which seemed like another successful defense. However, Rollins took advantage of a mistake by Lesnar and applied a superplex on the Spanish commentary table.
From there, Rollins would find his way to the title. With two Curb Stomps, "The Beast Slayer" would reach the top of the company once again, being the only challenger to win in his title opportunity during the night.
