Sting last fought in WWE was at Night of Champions 2015, and he was defeated by Seth Rollins. During the fight, he suffered a neck injury, which forced him to stay away from the sport since then. And although he has made some appearances in other companies, he has not returned to compete.
This has not prevented him from remaining very present in the news, as in August he stated that after all he has done in the business, he is completely satisfied. A couple of months later he spoke about facing The Undertaker, claiming to not know if he was ever interested in fighting him.
Everything seems to indicate that he will not return to the ring due to the injuries suffered throughout his career, especially the most recent one, but last December, "The Icon" stated that he never said he wanted to have one last fight. Although he continues to claim that he would have liked to have faced "The Dead Man."
Sting: "I never said I wanted one more fight"
Today we continue talking about his future, collecting the recent words of Dave Meltzer, who responded to a fan about a possible fight with The Undertaker.
The impression we have is that Sting probably can't get cleared to wrestle. He's already retired. I know that if he could wrestle,he would want that match. https://t.co/esXKrHqWbf

The most important thing is health, so we are glad that everything continues to go well regarding his injury. If in the future he could have one last fight, it would be great, but at this moment it seems unlikely.
