Since leaving WWE, Ryback has remained relevant not by seeking success in other companies, but through his statements on the Conversation With The Big Guy podcast.
Ryback, whose real name was Ryan Reeves, until last year legally changed it to Ryback Reeves, this time talked about Chris Jericho and his upcoming match with Kenny Omega at Wrestle Kingdom 12, as well as his Jericho Rock‘N Wrestling Rager at Sea cruise, which will depart from Miami on October 27 of next year:
"It was something interesting that came up. Chris is not currently with WWE and he is preparing his cruise, which is something really unique. A professional wrestling cruise has never been done before, and Jericho will be the innovator. I'm not sure of the details, but it seems to me that he will have a tournament with guys from ROH and New Japan, and I have the feeling that there will be a lot of alcohol."
"And he will also wrestle Kenny Omega, which is causing a lot of excitement on the internet. If regular people cross paths with him on the street, they don't recognize him, but within the wrestling community, Omega is a huge someone. If he ever decides to go to WWE, I think they can do something great with him."
"Kenny was in the development territory for some time, and I have only heard positive things about him; I really would like to face him in the ring. He and Chris Jericho are going to offer a great match with New Japan at Wrestle Kingdom. It's going to be something great and a lot of fun."
Jericho: "My match with Omega will be one of the best in history"
