The Bar: Cesaro and Sheamus, one of WWE's most important tag teams

In August 2016, Cesaro and Sheamus began a rivalry that led them to compete in a series of seven matches, in which the one who won the majority would be the winner. It was actually better than one might initially think, but both wrestlers continued to be in no man's land within Monday Night Raw.

The truth is that there was never a winner. The last match that was going to break the 3-3 tie they had on the scoreboard, which took place at Clash of Champions that same year, ended with no result when the referee stopped the match when he saw that both gladiators could not continue competing after the brutal attacks they inflicted on each other.

So everything was going to be resolved on the red brand show. However, the then General Manager, Mick Foley, stopped the series to prevent them from hurting each other, positioning them as the new contenders for the Raw Tag Team Championship, starting that same night the team they currently form.

Since then, they have become one of the most important tag teams in WWE and have managed to become three-time kings of the tag team division. In fact, they are currently the champions after defeating Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins on the November 6 episode of the red brand.

Today we talk about the confusing beginnings of The Bar, as during a recent interview with Al Arabiya, Cesaro revealed when they found out they were going to form a team.

"The moment I found out I was going to team up with Sheamus was the same moment the fans did. When Mick Foley announced it on Monday Night Raw. And since then, everything that has happened on television, including the series of seven matches, has been essentially improvisation. I wasn't looking to be part of another team - after having done it with Tyson Kidd - and I know Sheamus wasn't either. But now we're having the best time of our lives."

What do you think of the team formed by Cesaro and Sheamus?
