WWE returns to India

WWE will return to India, and for the first time, this country could have a "local" wrestler as the world champion. Of course, this is assuming that Jinder Mahal recovers the belt after Survivor Series (2017), and the reports indicating that AJ Styles' reign will be short-lived are true. In any case, it will be a guaranteed success with the audience on the other side of the world, with the added bonus of Triple H.

Finn Bálor will be one of the talents competing there, and with his attractive "Demon King" persona, he will attract a large portion of the audience in New Delhi. To promote this upcoming tour, the Irishman granted an interview to The Indian Express, where he first spoke about the difficulties of becoming a demon.

"Being the demon is something difficult for me every day. It's mentally, physically, and emotionally demanding. I don't need it every day, it only comes out when the situation calls for it. I have defeated wrestlers like Samoa Joe, Roman Reigns, and Seth Rollins without the demon. Finn Bálor doesn't need a demon because Finn Bálor created a demon. Who is stronger? The fans should decide."

We previously reported the rumor that Finn Bálor may not be facing Brock Lesnar at WWE Royal Rumble (2018). Here is his response to the question of whether he still has the ambition to regain the Universal Championship:

"Not only is it my goal, but it's my right. I have the right to a rematch for a title I won against Seth Rollins in my first PPV, and a title I never lost. Obviously, there was a setback due to my injury. But now I am better than ever and I feel good. So, whoever wants to step into the ring with me, I am ready."

Before that, on Sunday Bálor will be part of Team Raw at Survivor Series, and will try to set aside his differences with Samoa Joe, perhaps his biggest rival since working for WWE:

"I am a sincere person and I would like us to be united for Raw. But knowing Joe and the type of competitor he is, if he has an opportunity, he will take advantage of it. So I will have to always be alert for any possible betrayal. But I hope we can work together for a greater good. Survivor Series has always been my favorite PPV since I was a child, and it will be a great honor to represent Raw."
