The WWE Network has been an innovative service and an excellent way for fans to enjoy past and present content, but the digital streaming service is not perfect.

In a recent episode of the Conversation With The Big Guy podcast, Ryback discussed an issue he sees with the network's subscription model.

"I have WWE Network. It's $9.99 a month, money I don't pay because they gave this free subscription to all the talent when they were there. I asked them to revoke it but they didn't. I never personally asked, I never called the Head of Talent Relations, Mark Carrano, to ask him anything, but I was talking to a friend from WWE and how they are a publicly traded company. We were looking at their numbers and WWE says they wanted to be in the range of 3 million, but they have stalled in the range of 1.3 to 1.4 million subscriptions."

Ryback believes that the free month offered by WWE is detrimental to subscription resale.

"Here's the thing: I want them to succeed because I have a lot of friends who work there. I'm fine, I'm very well without them, but they have major flaws in their system where they give you the free month. You sign up by entering your email address and get a free month, but part of the problem is that people register with an email, get the free month, and then cancel.

"Then they enter a new email and get a free subscription again by creating a new email. It's not hard to do at all and get another free month. They are failing by not having a better system that prevents it by remembering information or credit card names."
