Jessica Andrade: "I can knock out Rose Namajunas". The Brazilian fighter talks about her future in regard to competing for the title again.

In October, Jessica Andrade stated that she wants a rematch with Joanna Jedrzejczyk after being defeated by the then champion.

"I think UFC will want me to fight against Joanna because there are no more opponents. When I defeat Rose Namajunas, that's probably what they will do. Joanna wants to move up to the flyweight division, but before that, she wants to break Ronda Rousey's record. If UFC gives me that opportunity, I will train even harder to win. I didn't feel well in the first fight. I couldn't train in the last weeks because I had a shoulder injury. I didn't mention this before because everyone would say it's an excuse. But against Claudia Gadelha, I was fine and put on a good show. I will get Joanna out of my division."

Now that the champion is Rose Namajunas, the Brazilian fighter not only says she wants to fight against her but also believes she can knock her out.

"Joanna Jedrzejczyk underestimated Rose Namajunas. She thought it was just another fight, that it would be easy. But she forgot that Rose is taller than her recent opponents like me or Claudia Gadelha, and she also has more reach. Namajunas did a great job. Now it's easier for other fighters to have a shot at the title. I don't think UFC will give Joanna a rematch. José Aldo and Ronda Rousey lost too and didn't get a rematch. Rose Namajunas is a tough opponent, but I believe I can knock her out."

Furthermore, she also assures that she would like to have a rematch with the Polish fighter and that now they would be in different roles than in the first fight.

"I would show her how a champion should behave. She's aggressive and rude, not pleasant. She became a different person after winning the title."

At the moment, the future of the fighters is unclear, but the three of them are among the best in the division.
